Accra Brewery, Voltic launch Beta Malt

DBR Staff Writer Published 26 June 2015

Accra Brewery Limited based in Ghana has partnered with its sister firm Voltic (GH) Limited (Voltic) to add a new non-alcoholic beverage called Beta Malt to its portfolio.

Packaged in a 330ml PET bottle, Accra Brewery says the beverage is made with the finest raw materials.

The beverage has been packaged at the new, $ 15m Sparkling Soft Drink packing line in Ghana, which produces 32,000 bottles per hour.

Voltic general manager Phil Redman said: " "Providing a high quality malt in PET is not easy and today is the culmination of a number of years of hard work. We have learnt from our past experience and other SAB Miller businesses around the world and invested $15million in a world class production facility.

"The ultramodern new plant is a testament to our drive to invest in quality and bring innovation to the Ghanaian market."

Beta Malt is available at a suggested retail price of GH¢2.50.
