AVT Natural Products to open UK subsidiary
AVT Natural Products, an India-based instant tea manufacturer, plans to establish a subsidiary in the UK.
Expected to begin operations by 1 October 2012, the company is currently finalizing the details for the same.
The proposed subsidiary will function as the marketing arm of AVT Natural Products for Decaffeinated Tea and lnstant Tea.
The beverages are extracted at the company's plant in Cochin in the Indian state of Kerala.
According to the company, while there is sufficient capacity in the Decaffeinated Tea at the Cochin plant, new capital expenditure is under way to increase capacity of lnstant Tea manufacturing.
AVT Natural Products will further enhance its footprint in the global value added beverages market with the new subsidiary.
