Coca-Cola bottler selects Coupa spend optimization software
Coca-Cola Bottling Co Consolidated (CCBCC), a US-based independent Coca-Cola bottler, has replaced its legacy e-procurement platform with Coupa Software's cloud-based spend optimization solutions.
Coupa's applications are expected to support CCBCC's 1,200-person user base in the field who rely heavily on iPads and iPhones to gain better control over procurement processes.
The technology company also integrated to the bottler's SAP ERP platform.
Coupa Software services, customers success and adoption vice president Ravi Thakur said, "The support phones were quiet on day one, which is a testament to the ease-of-use of Coupa's platform, and iPhone and iPad users immediately started placing orders for items they needed to keep their operations flowing."
CCBCC distributes and markets still beverages of The Coca-Cola Company, such as POWERade, vitaminwater and Minute Maid Juices To Go, and produces, distributes and markets Dasani water products under still beverage agreements.
