Coca-Cola, CPK sign multi-year product, marketing agreement

DBR Staff Writer Published 23 July 2013

The Coca-Cola has entered into a multi-year product and marketing agreement to serve its products in 202 California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) restaurants across the US from 31 August 2013.

Under this agreement, besides Coca- Cola, Diet Coke, Coke Zero and Sprite, the soft drinks giant will also offer a range of juices, enhanced waters and energy drinks at CPK locations.

The agreement also includes the development of various marketing and promotional programs between the brands every year.

Coca-Cola zone vice president Dan Manning said: "We are pleased to have been chosen to provide California Pizza Kitchen's guests with a high quality beverage program and look forward to leveraging our joint marketing capabilities for future promotions to drive beverage growth at all restaurant locations."

CPK chief executive officer GJ Hart said: "We have listened closely to feedback from our guests, who have told us they want to be able to enjoy a refreshing Coca-Cola beverage alongside their favorite new hand-tossed pizzas, entrees and appetizers."
