Coca-Cola to expand Glaceau line with fruit-flavored waters

DBR Staff Writer Published 21 March 2013

The Coca-Cola is set to add zero-calorie, carbonated, fruit-flavored water line Fruitwater to its Glaceau bottled water brand from 1 April 2013 in the US.

Glaceau Fruitwater will include a blend of nutrients - B vitamins, magnesium and zinc - and artificial sweetener sucralose Splenda.

The drink, which is designed as an alternative to sugary carbonated drinks, however does not contain any fruit juices.

The Glaceau line features vitaminwater and smartwater brands and this new launch will expand its portfolio.

Glaceau vitaminwater is a range of flavored waters that is enhanced with vitamins and minerals. It is available in a range of flavors including Glaceau Vitamin Water Spark - Tropical Citrus, Glaceau Vitamin Water Revive - Fruit Punch, Glaceau Vitamin Water Defence - Raspberry Apple and Glaceau Vitamin Water Power C - Dragonfruit.
