Coca-Cola launches first frozen offering Diet Coke FROST

Diet Coke, a beverage brand owned by drinks giant Coca-Cola, has introduced a new low-calorie frozen carbonated beverage - Diet Coke FROST - exclusively at 7-Eleven stores nationally under the Slurpee brand name.

Available in 20oz saize, the new Diet Coke FROST contains natural cherry flavorings and offers 30 calories and 12g of carbs per serving, the company claims.

Beginning from 26 February 2014, Diet Coke FROST Cherry as a Slurpee is exclusively available at 7-Eleven stores across the nation.

Coca-Cola North America sparkling beverages general manager Stuart Kronauge said: "Providing fans with yet another way to enjoy their favorite beverage demonstrates why Diet Coke continues to be the No. 2 beverage in the U.S. Exclusively partnering with 7-Eleven for the debut of Diet Coke FROST brings this innovation to people nationwide in a setting famous for delivering frozen perfection."

7-Eleven Fresh Foods and Proprietary Beverages senior vice president Nancy Smith said, "Customers turn to 7-Eleven for our iconic Slurpee beverages, which is how America can first experience Diet Coke FROST.

"In addition to exclusively carrying the Diet Coke FROST beverage, we're also offering fans a coupon to try it for free from our 7-Eleven app," he conlcuded.

The Coca-Cola Company manufactures, markets, and sells nonalcoholic beverages worldwide. The company primarily offers sparkling beverages and still beverages.
