iQ Food partners with Greenhouse Juice

iQ Food has partnered with Greenhouse Juice, local purveyors of organic cold-pressed juice.

Starting January 21st, the two companies, developed and operated by long-time friends turned entrepreneurs, will offer three organic juices at iQ's restaurants.

This is the first collaboration between iQ and Greenhouse Juice Co. "One of the greatest things about entrepreneurship is being able to choose your partners. Anthony and I have wanted to do something together for a long time, and this felt like the right opportunity," says iQ founder Alan Bekerman. "Two companies, at the forefront of their respective fields in Toronto, coming together to do something special."

With a similar approach to wellness and balanced eating, the two entrepreneurs were particularly excited to create a revitalizing, nutrient-dense green juice named "Genius". Exclusive to iQ, Genius is a blend of spinach, kale, celery, cucumber, pineapple, lemon, E3 live, and Himalayan salt. Brain stimulating, heart healthy, energizing, skin purifying, cholesterol fighting, and anti-inflammatory, Genius was created with the intention of being the type of green juice guests would feel good about drinking every day. In addition to Genius, iQ will offer Orange and Grapefruit juices to complement the restaurant's clean, healthy menu.

"With all of our juices we strive to maximize both wellness and taste. We're quite proud of Genius; it is serious enough to appeal to green juice connoisseurs, but is also soft enough to be approachable -- and to avoid overpowering your lunch. We chose the ingredients with hardworking downtowners in mind. This is the most efficient way we know of to stay alert for long hours while keeping yourself healthy in the long term" says Anthony Green, Greenhouse co-founder. Like all Greenhouse offerings, iQ's juices will be made using 100% organic produce; will be cold-pressed, a decades-old extraction method that keeps the health-giving properties of plants intact; will not be artificially preserved in any way, and will be packaged in glass bottles.

Founded in Toronto in 2011, iQ Food Co. has quickly expanded to three locations in the downtown core with restaurants at Brookfield Place, the TD Centre food hall, and 18 York Street. The restaurants feature clean, modern interiors, art by James Robert Durant, and unique materials and design details. A fresh take on healthy, fast casual dining, iQ Food Co. appeals to those looking for a nutritious takeout lunch or a quick, dine-in meal. Many menu items are prepared using local, organic ingredients, with a number of vegan and gluten-free dishes on offer.
