Luxury tea company Newby of London launches iced tea

DBR Staff Writer Published 13 April 2016

Newby Teas presents a healthy and sweet answer to summer drinks with iced tea.

While traditional iced teas use leaf-dust tea bags that need sugar and lemon added to create flavour, Newby's state-of-the-art packaging facility in Kolkata works to preserve flavour and aroma, and preserve fruits' natural sugars. This means they can be used alone to make healthy, chilled drinks on hot summer days.

Only ice is needed to make this fruity drink that won't reverse the hours in the gym.

Newby's General Manager of Creative & Marketing, Gwen Hustwit, said:"Summer drinks don't have to be loaded with added sugar and alcohol to be fabulous. Our fruity tisanes have the fruit's natural sugars preserved so you still get a sweet summer drink, but don't have to stress about the calorific indulgence.

"Tea is England's go-to drink. Exploring different flavours and serving it iced on a hot day is like drinking an entirely different drink than your usual cup - it's guilt-free indulgence!"

Strawberry & Mango Tisane: this tea is first cultivated from wild strawberries in France and then Newby's unique blend combines apple, rosehip, and strawberry with exotic South Asian mango, hibiscus and papaya in a unique East-meets-West tisane.
Rooibos Orange Tisane: Rooibos is grown in the mountainous Cederberg region of South Africa. This naturally caffeine-free blend features rooibos' unique taste, complemented by the tangy and sweet flavour of orange with a hint of liquorice.
