Maui Wowi Hawaiian names new franchisee in Lothian, Maryland
Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffees & Smoothies has entered into a franchise agreement with Bryan Rupert to expand its footprint in Lothian, Maryland.
Rupert chose to start up with a fixed kiosk with an aim to open a store location with multiple other units in operations simultaneously.
Commenting on the development, he said, "After looking for almost a year, comparing and researching several possibilities, I kept coming back to Maui Wowi. I just couldn't get past the casual, yet professional environment; it matched my personality to a tee and so, my decision was made."
Started in 1982, the company offers all-natural, gluten-free, fresh-fruit smoothies, as well as Hawaiian coffees and espresso beverages.
With over 605 operating units in nine countries, the company offers flexible business model that includes event carts, mall kiosks and stand-alone retail locations.
