Maui Wowi opens Camp Pendleton outlet
Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffees & Smoothies has opened its fourth franchise outlet at the Camp Pendleton Marine Corp Base in Southern California, marking further expansion of its operations.
Kathleen Yang has been named as the franchise owner of Maui Wowi Hawaiian and will operate as its base-wide coffee provider.
Yang has Maui Wowi locations throughout Camp Pendleton, including a flagship store Koa Teriyaki Grill located in the Plaza. A fifth Maui Wowi location is scheduled to open soon in Camp Horno.
Yang said that the new o offers coffees and smoothies, which enables the franchise to provide healthy options to the Marines.
The Hawaiian inspired dual concept serves made to order, fresh fruit smoothies that are all-natural and gluten free. Maui Wowi's Hawaiian coffee offerings are sourced from Kona, Maui, Molokai and Kauai regions of the island.
The firm plans an opening event on 2 August 2012 at the new San Onofre location and will include giveaways of Hawaiian coffee and smoothies along with some free product samples.
Camp Pendleton training facility has an average daytime population of approximately 70,000 military and civilian personnel.
