Pepsi New Haven chooses HighJump OASIS 5.0 to manage soft drink distribution

DBR Staff Writer Published 12 June 2013

Pepsi New Haven, which distributes more than 300 beverage products from three warehouses in Missouri, has chosen HighJump Software's OASIS 5.0 route accounting system (RAS) to manage its daily operations.

OASIS 5.0 RAS, designed for soft drink distributors, will enable the distributor to manage its routes, hand-held computing devices, customers and driver schedules.

HighJump will combine this new software with its other direct store delivery (DSD) solutions currently used by the distributor.

This integration will offer a cost-effective implementation process and real-time data that drives increased productivity and improved customer service, claims the company.

OASIS 5.0 web user interface will leverage web-based technology constructs; will train new staff and offers easy navigation and enhanced reporting and analysis capabilities to get accurate, timely information.

Pepsi New Haven general manager Denny Rasure said that the company is unable to manage more and more SKUs to handle complicated promotional pricing.

"Implementing HighJump OASIS 5.0 provides us many technology upgrades and significant opportunities for increases in productivity, ease of use and enhanced reporting capabilities," Rasure added.
