Mr. Conde, 42, currently serves as Chairman of NBCUniversal International Group and NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises. He also serves on the Executive Committee of NBCUniversal.

"Cesar is a strong global executive with an impressive track record spanning business, finance and media," said PepsiCo Chairman and CEO Indra Nooyi. "He will provide fresh thinking on today's consumer and media landscapes, and his unique insights will be particularly valuable as we continue to build new digital marketing capabilities and adapt to changing demographics around the world."

Conde joined NBCUniversal in 2013 as Executive Vice President, overseeing NBCUniversal International and NBCUniversal Digital Enterprises until 2015. Prior to NBCUniversal, he spent 10 years in a variety of senior executive positions at Univision Networks, which he helped transform into a leading global, multi-platform media brand. Conde served as President of Univision Networks from 2009 to 2013.

Prior to Univision, Conde served as the White House Fellow for Secretary of State Colin L. Powell from 2002-2003. Previously, he worked at StarMedia Network, the first internet company focused on Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking audiences globally, and in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Salomon Smith Barney.

"We welcome Cesar to the PepsiCo Board of Directors," said Ian Cook, Presiding Director. "His experience and expertise will further strengthen the Board as we continue pursuing strategies that create shareholder value and drive sustainable long-term growth."

Conde currently serves on the board of Owens Corning. Conde is also a Trustee of both the Aspen Institute and the Paley Center for Media. He is a Full Member at the Council on Foreign Relations and a Young Global Leader for the World Economic Forum.
