Reed’s signs distribution deals with Pure Beverage and Zink Distributing

DBR Staff Writer Published 15 June 2016

Brewed sodas manufacturer Reed’s has signed distribution agreements with Pure Beverage Company and Zink Distributing.

The deals cover the distribution of top sku's of both Reed's and Virgil's premium craft sodas.

Pure Beverage is engaged in the non-alcoholic beverage distribution business for over 20 years delivering brands like Sparkling Ice, Voss Water, Vita Coco, SoBe Beverages, Body Armor, Pop-Chips and several others across Indiana.

The latest deal requires Pure Beverage to distribute Reed's sodas into the supermarket, grocery and mass channels, as well as up-and-down-the-street independent stores in Indiana and 13 counties in Northwest Kentucky.

Zink Distributing distributes Anheuser-Busch products and craft beers in Indiana.

Under the agreement, Zink will drive business for Reed's and Virgil's in the all-important on premise channel of business including all casual/fine dine and neighborhood restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

Reed's senior vice president of sales and marketing Neal Cohane said: "With Zink's on premise distribution strength as an exclusive Anheuser-Busch house and Pure Beverage's status as the premier non-alcoholic distributor in the state, we really have all facets of the distribution spectrum covered in the state of Indiana.

"Our brands are continuing to gain strength throughout the US. Demand for our brands remain strong across the country and these two new distribution partnerships will only enhance our presence and strength."

Reed's has sold more than 500 million bottles since its inception in June 1989.
