Tropical Smoothie Café to open in Florida A&M University campus
US-based restaurant franchise Tropical Smoothie Café is to open its outlet in Florida A&M University (FAMU) campus.
The café will be located in the downstairs food court next to Pizza Hut and WOW Wings Café.
FAMU business and auxiliary services director Byron Williams told thefamuanonline.com that he has been working hard to ensure it will be open.
FAMU dining services and operation manager Kiawanna Everett told the website that the Tropical Smoothie prices will be in line with all the other Tropical Smoothies in Tallahassee.
"Like some places, the prices will not increase because Tropical Smoothie is located at a university, they will stay the same and the university will just lose commission," William added.
Tropical Smoothie offers a variety of low fat smoothies along with salads, flatbreads, and toasted sandwiches.
